    Box 7 Imports provides U.S.-based inspection hosting for international organic operators that require a domestic point of presence for certification or surveillance inspections. We coordinate with USDA-accredited certifying agents to support orderly, compliant, and well-documented inspections. Our role is limited to hosting and administrative coordination only; Box 7 Imports does not provide certification, inspection, or advisory services.

    Joe Dickson

    Co-CEO

    Joe Dickson brings over 25 years of experience in organic systems, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. As the former Global Director of Quality Standards at Whole Foods Market, Joe spearheaded complex compliance strategies across North America and the UK. At Wolf & Associates, Joe has counseled brands, importers, agricultural operations, and certification bodies on all facets of organic compliance. He is also the founder of Lot 49 Advisors, a consultancy specializing in sustainability and certifications for retailers, NGOs, and agricultural producers. From 2010 to 2015, he served on the National Organic Standards Board, providing leadership and insight into the evolution of organic regulations. Joe’s deep understanding of US and Global organic regulations and his commitment to fostering organic integrity make him a trusted partner for navigating the complexities of organic importation.

    Co-CEO

    John Foster has dedicated his career to advancing organic systems and ensuring regulatory compliance over the past 30+ years. As COO at Wolf & Associates, John leads initiatives to support organic compliance and certification across global supply chains. His prior roles as Director of Compliance at Earthbound Farms and Director of Supply Strategy at WhiteWave Foods and Danone NA further solidified his expertise in organic production and operations at scale. From 2010 to 2015, he served on the USDA National Organic Standards Board, leading numerous initiatives to strengthen and evolve the USDA organic standards. John’s extensive experience in organic systems and his leadership across diverse aspects of compliance and production have made him an influential voice in the organic community. At Box 7 Imports, John drives excellence in organic compliance, offering innovative solutions and building enduring partnerships that empower brands to succeed in the global organic market.

    Logistics & Magic Coordinator

    Susie Grundler supports the Box 7 Imports team through operational coordination and process-focused work. Raised in an organic farming family, she brings a deep connection to agriculture and a long-standing interest in systems and process integrity. Before transitioning from aviation in 2020, Susie spent twenty years as a professional pilot and aircraft manager, where precision, documentation, and operational excellence were central to her work. Since then, she has applied her project management and operational expertise across a range of roles supporting regulated environments and cross-functional coordination. Susie combines practical problem-solving with a collaborative approach to help Box 7 Imports maintain clear, efficient processes for clients navigating complex organic import requirements. Outside of work, she enjoys whitewater rafting, backcountry camping, scuba diving, and exploring parts unknown.
